Kealy was born in Kailua-Kona, and raised in Paauilo, Hawaii. She graduated from the University of Hawaii in 2012 with a Associates degree in early childhood education. She has experience in Private Elementary Education, Curriculum Planning and Development, and Small Business Administration.

Married to her husband (James) of 13 years, Kealy is also a mother to 4 beautiful children. In 2021, both she and her husband became founding members of City Mission and committed their lives to serving disadvantaged individuals and families in Greater Waterbury who are experiencing food insecurity, poverty, economic hardship, and spiritual hopelessness.

She currently serves as the Vice Principal of City Mission’s Education Program (aka City Mission Schools), and the Community Development Director over its engagement activities & programs. She is heavily involved in its Free Food Program as well.

Kealy’s staff pay is supported solely by tax-deductible donations from our donors, which means we can keep our Education Program tuition affordable and our Food Programs completely free.
